Baby Update.........

Here is our sweet little boy at 36 weeks! Aaron thinks that I am crazy but, I think that he looks just like Caden! I would take another Caden face in a heartbeat, it is just that it would be nice to go out somewhere and not get drilled about my blonde haired, blue eyed little Louder Babies:] No one ever thinks they are mine! Oh well, It's not like I carried them for 9 months and gave them life right?
He He... that really does sound bitter but if everyone of my kids come out looking like Caden I would be 100% thrilled:]
Maybe my girls...if i have a girl?

Little Louder #2 was weighing bigger then normal(they did another ultrasound because my other one didn't transfer from the other hospital) anyways they say he is almost 6 pounds, has really chubby cheeks, and that he is expected after Thanksgiving! Which is great news for me, I mean us:] Who wouldn't take a baby a few weeks early! I was dilated to a 1 at my appointment on Wednesday and the doc said she thinks I will hold off until Thanksgiving and then she said to expect anything:] I was a week early with Caden and dilated to a 5 without a contraction, so they tell me to stay close and as soon as I start to feel contractions to make my way to the hospital! Yahoo! I would love some advice that anyone has about going from 1 to 2 children. Do's and dont's:] Please feel free to give any hospital advice, first days home, and breastfeeding with an almost 2 year old that loves attention:] Well there is my birthing story in a bubble:]

I will keep you all updated.....

Oh man, I'm so excited for you guys! I just finished my last OB clinical and I was in labor and delivery! It was so much fun to see my patient go from being dialted at a 2 til the baby came out! It was so exciting! (I almost cried) So reading about how your pregnancy is going was so much fun! I can't wait to see what he looks like :) another little boy as cute as Caden would be fantastic! Can't wait to see you guys!

YEAH! I suppose this is just another future prospect for our second baby girl (you get all the boys and we seem to get all the girls). Maybe next time we'll switch it up :)! Here is my advice, but it isn't much. Let Caden get involved as much as possible. Make his job in diaper changing to go and get the baby's diaper. Remember babies aren't glass so let him get hands on with the baby (as long as he's not hurting him). As far as breastfeeding...here's what we did. If you're comfortable, let Caden watch and explain what is going on. Let him help burp him. Long story short, get him as involved as possible. Don't forget to have some alone time with Caden every day. Just have fun...you're a great mommy and will know what to do :). Wow, long comment. Sorry!

Hello. :)You are all in for a fun adventure. You will do great! I thought it was much easier to go from one to two then zero to one. Caden will love being a big brother. I would recommend getting him a little baby boy doll. We got Gavin one that came with a stroller and a carrier.( All blue) He loved it! He could wash, change and feed his baby. Just like Mommy and Daddy. (He would even pretend to nurse the baby. It was really cute.) And sometimes when I nursed, I would turn on Gavins favorite 10-15 minute toddler show (The Wiggles, or Little Einsteins). Good luck! And dont worry. Your a pro know. :) Can't wait till Christmas to see your cute munchkins.:)

It's not as bad as everyone says having the 2nd. Trae needed lots of attention and I just gave him my attention when I could but let him be involved with eveything I could. He was only 21 1/2 months old so he still needed his mom. But it helped that I had help my first week cause I could do things with Kira and grandma could play with him. But he was a good help and loved babies.
You will be fine. You just learn to juggle things differently!

That's awesome...let me say that I think breastfeeding the second one is harder because you have to start from square one all over again and you have a toddler to take care of!! Oh and alone time is a must with Caden so that he is still feeling loved. I tried to pay as much attention to Ethan while Ali was sleeping just so I felt like I was sharing my time! It is hard transitioning from 1 to 2 so just be patient because you'll eventually get it down. And you're such a good mom I'm sure it'll come naturally! Another Caden would be fun!! Caden is adorable! Good luck with everything...but to be honest...I'm so happy I'm already done with number 2!!

I am thrilled to hear that he will be here early for you!! YEA! Yeah, another Caden would be awesome-he is such a handsome boy. And I agree with whoever said nursing the second is way more difficult b/c of the first but if you can just deal with the fact that the house will be torn apart while you are doing it then you are good to go! :D

You know, it was actually a really easy transition to add Jayci in the mix. treyton was great with her and just loved her from the beginning. I did have a "nursing basket" that had new special toys and Ducktales series in it that Treyton could only play with while I nursed. So that was a good distraction. Other than that, not much advice. I hope it is easy for you too! Good luck.

So with Mac I dilated to a five without a contraction too so I was induced. With Gray I went from a 1 to 10 in matter of hours. So basically I'm saying. every birth is different, every baby has it's challenges. Really though the hardest part is not sleeping. I'm cure Caden will do just fine. Mac adores G. Life with two boys is bliss. Well, not bliss but it's a lot of fun.

oh and have a stack of books next to the couch, so when you feeding the babe you can read to Caden. It was a life saver.

Honestly, it took me and my mom and sister an EXTREMELY long time to find your baby's face in that picture...I mean, it was clearly labled face, but we just weren't seeing it. I do see it now though :)
I'm glad you guys are coming at least for a little while so I can steal the baby!!!

Counting down the days...you will do great with two kids. It is definitely a major adjustment, but with Boston he loved, and still loves to be mommies little helper, so that has been nice. Definitely invest in a nice double stroller, it is so worth it! I am stressing going from two to three that is for sure!
